There is something for everyone at this lively family event on the tree-lined grounds of the Wade House Historic Site.Artisans and craftspeople from across Wisconsin come to Wade House to display and sell their wares at one of the most longstanding fairs of its kind in eastern Wisconsin. There is something for everyone at this lively family event on the tree-line grounds of the Wade House Historic Site.Some of the regions’ best artists and craftsmen will exhibit at this fair and employ a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry, fiber art, glass, wood, leather, metal and photography.
This outdoor celebration of the arts also features good food with a wide range of culinary delights.
Rides on Wade House’s reproduction stagecoach will be offered at a modest fee of $2 per person.
Proceeds from this event help support the educational, historic programming at the site.
Special admission of $6.00 per adult includes entrance to the Fair and entire site. Children ages 17 and under are FREE.
Admission includes a horse-drawn vehicle ride from the historic area to the new Wade House Visitor Center and Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum; a tour of the first floor of the stately, 27-room stagecoach hotel; a trip to the Herrling Sawmill to see and feel the rumble of an up-and-down, water-powered saw; a journey to the blacksmith’s shop as well as entrance to the Arts and Crafts Fair.

Inspired by “Stone Soup” this interactive multi-sensory experience encourages young guests to take on roles in the community and participate in welcoming the travelers with a pot of healthy soup.
