Psalm 78:4 New Living Translation (NLT)
4 We will not hide these truths from our children;
we will tell the next generation
about the glorious deeds of the Lord,
about his power and his mighty wonders.
No matter what your age or wealth, deciding how to bequeath your assets is one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. Your will, the document that specifies your wishes, allows you to make gifts to your family and friends as well as to the charitable organizations you wish to support. Including Evangel Ministries, Inc. d/b/a The Family in your will may allow you to make a more significant contribution than is possible during your lifetime — with the added peace of mind that comes from knowing your estate dollars will have maximum impact in helping The Family broadcast the hope of Jesus Christ to strengthen and encourage listeners in Wisconsin and beyond.
Through a bequest, you may leave a specific dollar amount, all or a percentage of your residuary estate, or specific assets such as marketable securities. You may also create a testamentary charitable remainder trust in your will, which provides life income to a loved one before the principal reverts to Evangel Ministries, Inc. A bequest to a charitable organization can significantly save on estate taxes. Gifts During Lifetime
You can maximize Kingdom impact, save taxes and experience the joy of generosity.
Outright: In addition to cash, you can make an outright gift of real estate, a paid-up life insurance policy or other property of value directly to The Family.
Stock: If you currently write checks to support The Family, but also have appreciated stocks or mutual funds, you can significantly reduce the cost of your charitable gift while giving more by gifting stock before the sale.
Charitable IRA Rollover: If you are over
70 ½, you can make a tax-free distribution from your IRA directly to The Family.
Donor-Advised Fund: Instead of writing checks directly to MINISTRY, you can manage ALL of your charitable giving with a Donor-Advised Fund – which works like a charitable checking account. You give assets into the Fund (cash, stocks, real estate, etc.), receive an immediate income tax deduction, and then recommend grants to your church and The Family when timely. This is a great tool for windfalls, inheritances and year-end business profits.
Benefits of Lifetime Gifts

Charitable Remainder Trust: You contribute assets to an irrevocable trust. These assets are invested by you, and you or a loved one receive income from the trust. The remaining assets benefit The Family.
