Ingredients
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage I used Sage flavor
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper chopped
  • - Brown sausage and chopped vegetables drain.
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded colby/jack cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. garlic power
  • - Add cheeses egg and seasonings to browned meat.
  • 2 cups biscuit mix Bisquick
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sour cream
Instructions
  1. Make a batter with biscuit mix, milk and sour cream.
  2. Gently stir sausage mixture into batter and pour into greased 8 X 9 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  4. Cut into squares and serve with eggs, and fresh veggies or fruit on theo side.
Terri's Notes

* May be frozen after baking.

** This is a mild version of the original recipe which called for hot sausage, ½ cup grated jalapeno flavored cheese, and ¼ tsp. Tabasco sauce.
