Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 Tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • Sift dry ingredient together into a bowl.
  • cups milk
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Beat together liquid ingredients. Then pour into dry ingredients and stir until blended. (mixture should be somewhat lumpy)
  2. Heat skillet to 340 degrees. Cook until bubbles burst then flip over for about 1 minute on the other side.
  3. This was a recipe used nearly every Sunday morning at our home when Lance and I were growing up in Kansas, Layne
Terri's Notes

~ What a fun way to start a tradition of your own!
~ I used a scant two cups of flour. If batter still seems a bit thick for your taste, add a little more milk or sour cream.
