Instructions
  1. Country Style Pork ribs - quantity to suit your crowd
  2. Ground ginger
  3. Garlic powder
  4. Salt and pepper
  5. Soy sauce
  6. canned pineapple chunks, drained
  7. Sweet Baby Ray's or Cookies Barbecue Sauce, or pick your favorite!
  8. Arrange a single layer of ribs in a baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle with garlic powder, ground ginger, and soy sauce.
  10. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees, for ½ hour.
  11. Drain any fat and juice that's accumulated.
  12. Add salt and pepper.
  13. Arrange pineapple chunks over the meat.
  14. If you're not using a sweet barbeque sauce, sprinkle with brown sugar.
  15. Smother in/cover with barbecue sauceto taste!
  16. Bake, uncovered for 1 ½ to 2 hours longer, or until meat is fork tender.
Terri's Notes

- This recipe isn't an exact science; it's to your taste. But more importantly -it's for any size family! And it's such a great meal for the time and energy it takes to prepare.
- Slice a sweet onion and arrange over the top with the pineapple chunks.
- The ginger helps give it that Polynesian flare, but if your family doesn't like it, leave it out.
- Or use fresh grated gingercarefully!
- Use more or less garlic.
