Ingredients
  • Dough:
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. honey/sugar
  • 3-4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Sauce mix:
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried Basil
  • 1-2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. fennel seed
Instructions
  1. Directions: Soften yeast in warm water. Stir half the flour and the rest of the dough ingredients into the yeast mixture. Mix well, adding enough of the remaining flour to form a soft ball. Knead lightly on a floured surface. Let raise 5 minutes and press on to 2 greased pizza pans or a cookie sheet. Top with sauce, cheese and your choice of pizza toppings.
  2. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Terri's Notes

- Sprinkle greased pizza pans with a light layer of corn meal.
- Topping choices include: caramelized onions, fresh onions, sliced tomatoes, pepperoni, sausage (cooked and drained), green pepper, spinach, mushrooms, freshly grated mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, black olives....
- Use frozen bread dough for the crust. Just thaw and press onto greased pans.
- Use bottled or canned pizza sauce.
