Ingredients
  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries*
  • 1/2 cup sugar (add 2 Tblsp. flour if fruit is juicy)
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • cinnamon and sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Toss peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and arrange in a buttered, 11x14’’ baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle raspberries evenly over the top.
  4. In a small bowl, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, milk, egg and butter.
  5. Pour mixture over fruit in a pattern, so some fruit shows through.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and a little sugar if desired.
  7. Bake 45 minutes, until topping is golden.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream, cold with ice cream...for breakfast – it’s that good!
  9. * If you have lots of peaches and no raspberries, just add 1½ cups more peaches.
