- This is a great stove top dish. Can be saved and served out of a crock pot on “low” . . . watch it, it gets brown easily.
- I cook it and refrigerate. As needed, a single serving heats well in the microwave and is a great way to keep the family fed as they run in and out.
- Use the recipe as a place to begin . . .
I substituted “nearly cooked” brown rice for the Minute Rice.
Add some onion to the ground meat as it’s cooking.
No Salsa? Add a can of diced tomatoes and a packet of taco seasoning.
More cheese, no cheese….have some fun in the kitchen!
