Ingredients
  • pounds lean ground beef
  • 6 slices pineapple
  • 3 Tblsp. catsup
  • 1 Tblsp. mustard
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 ½ Tblsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tblsp. brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Mix catsup, mustard, ginger, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  2. Form ground beef into 6 patties.
  3. Baste burgers with sauce as they grill.
  4. While burgers are grilling, brush pineapple slices with 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Grill until pineapple is heated through and seared with grill marks, about 6 minutes for fresh, 2 minutes for canned pineapple.
  6. After turning burgers, top with pineapple slice until burgers are cooked through so flavors meld.
  7. Serve each patty topped with grilled pineapple slice.
