Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 to 8 oz. portabella mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 Tblsp. flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz. egg noodles, prepared
Instructions
  1. ♦ In a heavy skillet, let ground beef begin to brown before you stir it or add any other ingredients.
    ♦ Once that beef begins to really brown on the bottom, begin to break it up and stir in onions, garlic and mushrooms. Continue to cook until the pink is gone and drain off any fat.
  2. ♦ Stir in flour, add broth and seasonings, heat to boiling. Stir constantly until thickened.
    ♦ Turn down heat, simmer 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through.
  3. ♦ Serve over hot noodles. Garnish with sour cream and a sprinkle of parsley or paprika.
