Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground round browned & drained
  • 2 – 15 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 1 – 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 – 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes optional
  • optional additions to your liking. . .green pepper mushrooms, olives, etc.
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients into crock pot. Cover and cook on low 6 – 8 hrs. or high 3 – 4 hrs.
  2. Serve over pasta and top with parmesan cheese.
Terri's Notes

~ This recipe is perfect: healthy, simple, crock pot, adjustable for any appetite!
~ Consider using sweet Italian Sausage browned and drained or adding a package of precooked meatballs.
~ We make a hearty supper by serving it over meat or cheese filled ravioli, tortellini is our favorite!
