Cut chicken breasts into thirds to make 6 nice sized chicken tenders.
If any of the chicken pieces happens to have a really thick portion, pound it down a bit so the chicken will cook more evenly.
Crush crackers, to make 1 cup of crumbs – pour onto a plate.
Melt butter in a shallow dish.
Roll chicken pieces in butter, then sour cream, then crackers to coat.
Arrange in a baking dish.
Drizzle with any leftover melted butter.
Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
