CRISPY CHEEZ-IT CHICKEN

Ingredients
  • 2 chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • cup Cheez-It crackers - your favorite flavor crushed to make 1
  • 5 Tblsp. butter melted
Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breasts into thirds to make 6 nice sized chicken tenders.
  2. If any of the chicken pieces happens to have a really thick portion, pound it down a bit so the chicken will cook more evenly.
  3. Crush crackers, to make 1 cup of crumbs – pour onto a plate.
  4. Melt butter in a shallow dish.
  5. Roll chicken pieces in butter, then sour cream, then crackers to coat.
  6. Arrange in a baking dish.
  7. Drizzle with any leftover melted butter.
  8. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
Terri's Notes

~ If you haven’t thought about this yet, you can roll chicken in melted butter, sour cream and just about anything crunchy to make a delicious meal!
~ In a pinch, layer chicken, sour cream and crushed crackers, drizzle with butter and bake!
