Ingredients
  • 6 egg whites at room temperature
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 3/4 cups fine white sugar
  • 1½ tsp. vinegar
  • 1½ tsp. vanilla
Instructions
  1. Set oven at 300 degrees as you begin to beat the egg whites.
  2. Beat egg whites using a whisk until they form soft peaks.
  3. Sift sugar and add a Tablespoon at a time to the whipped egg whites.
  4. Lastly, fold in vinegar and vanilla.
  5. On a greased foil tray, cover an 8 inch circle with meringue mixture, building up the sides.
  6. Put on the lowest oven rack for 1 hour.
  7. Turn oven off, but leave Pavlova in the oven until cooled.
  8. To serve, top with whipped cream and berries, kiwi, and other sliced fruits.

~Cheap, simple and a perfect way to enjoy the bounty of fresh seasonal fruit!
~Make one show-stopping dessert or 6 smaller ones for individual servings.
~If not serving immediately, store cooled meringue in an airtight container at room temperature.
