Ingredients
- 4 Ciabatta rolls
- Leftover grilled chicken breast, sliced thin
- Swiss or Gouda cheese, sliced 1/8 -1/4 inches thick
- Green apple, sliced thin
- Red onion, a few thin slices, broken up into individual rings
Instructions
Sandwich Spread
- Mix well, set aside
♦ 2 Tblsp. red jam or jelly. I used raspberry jelly
♦ 2 Tblsp. Miracle Whip
♦ 1 Tblsp. spicy honey mustard
Sandwich
- ♦ Place open ciabatta rolls on baking sheet.
♦ Butter top section of each roll and cover each bottom section with a cheese slice.
♦ Place pan on middle, not top, rack and set oven on broil. Close oven door.
♦ Cook till cheese is bubbly and buttered top half is golden brown. About 5 minutes.
♦ Pull out of oven and quickly layer on top of bubbly cheese...
♦ Red onion circles
♦ Apple slices
♦ Chicken slices - ♦ Spread golden underside of top half of bun with dressing mixture.
♦ Top off your sandwiches and serve. Yum!
