Ingredients
  • Cream together:
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • cups sugar use part brown if you like
  • Add and mix in:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour milk* or sour cream
  • Sift together and add:
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Beat until mixture is smooth and stir in:
  2. 2 cups shredded zucchini
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  4. Pour batter into pan and sprinkle with 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (use mini-chips).
  5. You may sprinkle with some chopped walnuts or pecans too.
  6. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. * To make sour milk, add 1 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice to milk and let stand 5 minutes.
