ANNIVERSARY CHICKEN

Ingredients
  • olive oil
  • boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1 per person
  • Teriyaki basting sauce
  • Ranch dressing prepared
  • cheddar cheese finely shredded
  • bacon crisp and crumbled
  • green onions thinly sliced
Instructions
  1. Pound out the thickest part of each chicken piece, just so it will cook more evenly.
  2. In a skillet, with just a bit of oil, sauté’ chicken until it begins to brown and is almost cooked through. 4-5 minutes per side should do it.
  3. Transfer chicken to a baking dish, with enough room to arrange pieces in a single layer.
  4. For each chicken breast:
  5. Brush generously with bottled Teriyaki basting sauce.
  6. Spoon on a dollop of prepared Ranch dressing and spread evenly.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Add a generous sprinkle of crisp, crumbled, real bacon.
  9. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until juices run clear and cheese has melted.

~ What a find – A simple and simply fabulous recipe to serve 1 or 10!
~ Teriyaki comes in many forms, the basting sauce is thick, rich and sticks to the chicken.
