½cupsugar or 1/4 cup brown sugar(3/4 cups brown sugar)
1/2cupmilk1 cup + 2 tblsp. Milk
1/4cupmelted butter(1/3 cup butter)
1eggbeat lightly (2 eggs)
1tsp.baking powder(1 tsp. Baking powder)
3/4tsp. salt(¾ tsp. Salt)
3/4tsp. vanilla extract(1 ½ tsp. Vanilla)
(parenthesis are amounts for recipe doubled)
Combine the ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 9x13 in. baking pan.
Bake at 350, for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Immediately spoon into bowls and top with milk.

-Do add dried fruit and nuts before or after baking, add cinnamon, nutmeg, or top with fresh fruit, chopped nuts, or coconut! Mix almonds, cherries and almond extract; apples, walnuts and maple flavoring; make up your favorite flavor combinations.
-Can easily be refrigerated in serving bowls and reheated.
