  • Skillet to Embark on Winter 2020 North American Headline Tour in Support of 'Victorious' Album

    12-times multi-platinum rock band SKILLET are returning to the road in North America this winter in support of their tenth album Victorious, out now. Exclusively announced by LOUDWIRE, the band will embark on a headline trek, dubbed the "Victorious Tour," which kicks off on February 6 in Wichita, Kansas and runs through March 14 in Norfolk, Virginia.     On Saturday, Mac Powell (former lead singer of Third Day, current lead singer of Mac Powell and the Family Reunion) shared on social media that his wife Aimee was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. After getting a CT scan, doctors found bleeding on her brain and believed it was an aneurysm. After having a procedure done, they confirmed the diagnosis and were able to put in coils to prevent further bleeding and rupturing. "Aimee is in a lot of pain in her head," Mac shared in an update post. "They have given her meds for it but nothing will completely help. They say the pain is going to be there. Eventually as the blood from the rupture leaves her brain it will work it's way down to the neck and then her back. She's getting a lot of rest- unfortunately, it's usually only about 10[...]

    Singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson recently took to social media to share that he will be releasing a documentary about the twenty-year history of Behold the Lamb of God, the Christmas tour that Andrew has done every year for the past 20 years. Behold the Lamb of God is also an album from Peterson, which you'll learn more about in the documentary. The twenty-minute documentary will be included in a limited edition DVD box set, but Andrew will be premiering it early on his Facebook page for a special one-time-only viewing on Monday, December 2nd at 7pm (CST). Andrew recently released a repackaged version of his album Behold the Lamb of God, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the tour and album, which is available now on all platforms.[...]
